Rotaract means "Rotary in Action". A Rotaract Club is a Rotary-sponsored club for young men and women aged 18-30 to exchange ideas and plan activities to address their communities' physical and social needs while establishing friendship. It is either community-based or university-based and is sponsored by a local Rotary Club. Rotary Clubs offer guidance and support, making the Rotaract Clubs true "partners in service" and key members of the family of Rotary.

 

With more than 8,400 Rotaract Clubs established in about 170 countries and geographical areas, Rotaract has become a worldwide phenomenon. As a Rotaractor, one can volunteer locally and internationally, develop leadership skills, build career contacts, network with service-minded people worldwide and make new friends and have fun.
